Terms and Conditions for the Use of Toyota Wallet Powered by SCB Service


The Applicant agrees to use Toyota Wallet Powered by SCB service as approved by the Bank pursuant to the details of services prescribed by the Bank. The Applicant agrees to be bound by and comply with the following terms and conditions:

1. Definitions

  • 1.1 “Application” means Toyota Wallet Application service provided by Toyota.
  • 1.2 “Bank” means The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, including any persons appointed by the Bank.
  • 1.3 “Credit Card” means credit card(s) designated by the Applicant to link with E-Wallet to make payment for the goods and/or services through E-Wallet Service.
  • 1.4 “Debit Card” means debit card(s) designated by the Applicant to link with E-Wallet to make payment for the goods and/or services through E-Wallet Service.
  • 1.5 “Device for Transaction Execution” means mobile phones and/or any other devices prescribed by the Bank to execute the Transaction.
  • 1.6 “E-Wallet” means the Applicant’s electronic wallet issued by the Bank under the Application which is used to make payment for the goods and/or services and is linked with Receiving Account.
  • 1.7 “E-Wallet Service” means Toyota Wallet Powered by SCB service which the Applicant can use for making payment for the goods and/or services via electronic channel by scanning the Payee’s QR Code to make payment for the goods and/or services in lieu of paying by cash, including any other additional services provided by the Bank or to be provided by the Bank to the Applicant in the future pursuant to these Terms and Conditions.
  • 1.8 “Force Majeure” means any circumstances beyond the Bank’s control causing interruption of providing services pursuant to these Terms and Conditions, including resulting in disruption or information error such as the malfunction of the Bank’s computer system or the malfunction of the communication system from the malfunction of power supply or energy problem, any third party’s act, computer virus or harmful data which does not result from the Bank’s failure to maintain the Bank’s computer system pursuant to the standard.
  • 1.9 “Payee” means a person who uses Merchant’s Acceptance of Payment Service with the Bank and agrees to receive payment for the goods and/or services from the Applicant through E-Wallet pursuant to these Terms and Conditions.
  • 1.10 “Personal Security Code” means Login Name, Username, Password, PIN - Personal Identification Number, fingerprint, face recognition, biometric, OTP – One Time Password or any other codes in relation to the access to E-Wallet Service regardless of the name and whether the code is generated by the Bank or is specified by the Applicant.
  • 1.11 “Receiving Account” means the Applicant’s deposit account maintained with the Bank which the Applicant has designated to receive fund transfer from E-Wallet; provided that it shall be deposit account in the type as prescribed by the Bank or to be prescribed and/or amended by the Bank in the future.
  • 1.12 “SCB Easy Application” means SCB Easy Application service provided by the Bank.
  • 1.13 “Terms and Conditions” means these terms and conditions for the use of Toyota Wallet Powered by SCB service
  • 1.14 “Toyota” means Toyota Insurance Broker Company Limited, including any persons appointed by Toyota.
  • 1.15 “Transaction“ means any instructions, record or transactions made through E-Wallet Service’s system such as the payment for the goods and/or services to the Payee by authorizing the Bank to debit fund from E-Wallet etc.

2.Use and Safekeeping of Personal Security Code, Personal Data and Device for Transaction Execution

  • 2.1 The Applicant shall keep Personal Security Code and personal data confidential and shall not disclose or do any acts that may cause other persons to know such Personal Security Code and/or personal data.
  • 2.2 The Applicant shall safekeep Device for Transaction Execution at the secure place and shall not allow such Device for Transaction Execution to be in the possession of any other persons. If the Applicant allows the Device for Transaction Execution to be in the possession of any other persons or any other person can access such Device for Transaction Execution, the Applicant shall be responsible for any Transaction made through such Device for Transaction Execution.
  • 2.3 The Applicant may change Password, PIN-Personal Identification Number and/or any other codes in relation to the access of E-Wallet Service at any time pursuant to the procedures, means and conditions prescribed by the Bank.
  • 2.4 In the event that the Applicant’s Personal Security Code is damaged, lost or stolen, the Applicant shall immediately notify and/or request for suspension of Transaction and/or the use of E-Wallet Service and/or request for seize or suspension the use of Personal Security Code by contacting the Bank at TOYOTA Wallet Customer Care Tel. 0-2660-5500. The Bank will immediately suspend Transaction and/or the use of E-Wallet Service and/or seize or suspend the use of such Personal Security Code, provided that the Applicant shall pass the process of verification pursuant to the procedures and means prescribed by the Bank. In this regard, the Applicant agrees that any transactions or the use of E-Wallet Service through the Applicant’s Personal Security Code done before such suspension of transaction and/or the use of E-Wallet Service and/or seize or suspension of the use of Personal Security Code shall bind the Applicant and the Applicant agrees to be responsible for such Transaction in all respects.

    The Applicant agrees to be fully responsible for all costs and expenses in connection with the request for the suspension of the transaction and/or the use of E-Wallet Service and/or the request for seize or suspension of the use of Personal Security Code in all respects.


3. Use of E-Wallet Service

  • 3.1 The Applicant shall be able to use E-Wallet Service by registering and applying for E-Wallet Service in accordance with the procedures, means and conditions prescribed by the Bank, and being approved by the Bank. In this regard, the Applicant shall be bound by and comply with the Terms and Conditions prescribed by the Bank and/or the Terms and Conditions for each function and/or type of transaction appearing before and/or during executing Transaction by the Applicant (if any). In such case, such terms and conditions shall form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. The Applicant shall be able to apply for E-Wallet Service on Device for Transaction Execution only 1 (one) device at each time.
  • 3.2 In access to the use of E-Wallet Service at any time, the Applicant shall enter correct Personal Security Code and shall comply with the procedures, means and conditions prescribed by the Bank. If the Applicant enters incorrect Personal Security Code in excess of times prescribed by the Bank (as the case may be), the system shall temporarily suspend the provision of service. In such case, the Applicant shall contact the Bank at TOYOTA Wallet Customer Care Tel. 0-2660-5500 and/or other channels prescribed by the Bank. In this regard, the Applicant agrees that such temporary suspension of providing service shall not result in the cancellation of Transaction which is an advance instructions and/or which is successfully done pursuant to the procedures for the use of E-Wallet Service and the Applicant agrees not to claim any damages from the Bank in all respects.
  • 3.3 The Applicant may use the following functions in E-Wallet Service and/or other functions to be prescribed by the Bank in the future pursuant to the procedures, means and conditions prescribed by the Bank, for 24 hours a day or during the period to be prescribed by the Bank for each function or during any other period to be prescribed by the Bank in the future:
    • 3.3.1 To make payment for the goods and/or services.
      • (1) To make payment for the goods and/or services by using fund in E-Wallet.
        • (1.1) To top-up fund into E-Wallet, the Applicant shall top-up fund by debiting fund from deposit account through SCB Easy Application or any electronic channels of other banks as prescribed by the Bank or by any other means to be prescribed by the Bank in the future. The maximum top-up amount is limited to 500,000 Baht (Five Hundred Thousand Baht only) per Transaction and per day; provided that the total amount is limited to 1,000,000 Baht (One Million Baht only) per calendar month, and the outstanding fund in E-Wallet at any time shall not exceed 1,000,000 Baht (One Million Baht only) or any other amount to be amended by the Bank in the future which the Bank will further notify such amendment to the Applicant. In the event that the top-up amount exceeds the amount limit prescribed by the Bank or will cause the outstanding fund in E-Wallet at that time exceeds the amount limit prescribed by the Bank, the system will reject such Transaction for topping up fund in whole. In this regard, it shall not be deemed as the Bank’s fault in all respects.

          The Applicant shall not be able to withdraw cash from E-Wallet and/or transfer fund from E-Wallet to other persons’ electronic wallet. If the Applicant wishes to cash out fund from E-Wallet, the Applicant shall transfer such fund to Receiving Account pursuant to the conditions prescribed by the Bank. In this regard, the Applicant will not receive any interest on the outstanding fund in E-Wallet at any time, whether during the day or during the period when the Bank cannot transfer fund from E-Wallet to Receiving Account for whatever reason.

        • (1.2) In making payment for the goods and/or services through E-Wallet, the Bank will immediately debit fund for the price of goods and/or services from the outstanding fund in E-Wallet pursuant to the procedures and means prescribed by the Bank. In this regard, the maximum amount for making payment for the goods and/or services through E-Wallet is limited to 500,000 Baht (Five Hundred Thousand Baht only) per Transaction and per day; provided that the total amount is limited to 1,000,000 Baht (One Million Baht only) per calendar month or any other amount to be amended by the Bank in the future. In the event that the outstanding fund in E-Wallet is insufficient for the price of goods and/or services, the system will automatically cancel such payment Transaction.
        • (1.3) In cashing out fund from E-Wallet, the Applicant shall transfer fund to Receiving Account only. The Applicant shall make the Transaction for transferring the outstanding fund through E-Wallet Service or contact the Bank through SCB Call Center Tel.02-777-7777 and comply with the procedures, means and conditions prescribed by the Bank. In this regard, in the event that such Transaction is made through SCB Call Center, the Applicant shall transfer the outstanding fund in E-Wallet in full. The Applicant shall not be able to transfer partial outstanding fund.

          When the Applicant successfully made the Transaction for transferring the outstanding fund from E-Wallet to Receiving Account, the Applicant will not be able to make payment for the goods and/or services by using such fund which is being transferred from E-Wallet, and the Bank will transfer fund to Receiving Account by automatic system within the period prescribed by the Bank. The Applicant will be able to check the result of fund transfer from E-Wallet to Receiving Account through the notification in the Application and/or pursuant to the conditions prescribed by the Bank and/or any other channels to be prescribed by the Bank in the future. In addition, the Applicant will be able to review the result of such fund transfer from passbook and/or statement by himself/herself.

          In the event that the Bank is not able to automatically transfer fund from E-Wallet to Receiving Account for whatever reason, the Bank shall not be liable for such event in any respects. In this regard, the fund transfer from E-Wallet to Receiving Account shall also be in accordance with the terms and conditions for the use of the Bank’s deposit account service.

      • (2) To make payment for the goods and/or services by using Credit Card.
        • (2.1) To add Credit Card, the Applicant shall fill in credit card information and proceed with the procedures and means prescribed by the Bank.
        • (2.2) When the Applicant makes payment Transaction for the goods and/or services by using Credit Card, the Bank will immediately use the credit amount of Credit Card for such Transaction. In the event that the credit amount of Credit Card is insufficient for the price of goods and/or services, the system will automatically cancel such payment Transaction.
      • (3) To make payment for the goods and/or services by using Debit Card.

        (3.1) To add Debit Card, the Applicant shall fill in debit card information and proceed with the procedures and means prescribed by the Bank.

        (3.2) When the Applicant makes payment Transaction for the goods and/or services by using Debit Card, the Bank will immediately debit fund from the remaining balance in the Applicant’s deposit account for such Transaction pursuant to the procedures and means prescribed by the Bank. In the event that the remaining balance in the Applicant’s deposit account linked with such Debit Card is insufficient for the price of goods and/or services, the system will automatically cancel such payment Transaction.

      • (4) To create QR Code for making payment for the goods and/or services

        In making payment for the goods and/or services, the Applicant is able to create QR Code to make payment for goods and/or services by allowing the Payee to scan such QR Code in accordance with the procedures and means prescribed by the Bank.

    • 3.3.2 To refund or to cancel payment for the goods and/or services.
      • In the event that the Applicant has made payment for the goods and/or services to the Payee exceeds the actual amount to be paid, or the Applicant wishes to cancel the payment Transaction for the goods and/or services made through E-Wallet Service, the Applicant shall notify the Payee and comply with the procedures prescribed by the Payee and the Bank in order for the Payee to proceed with the refund or the cancellation of such Transaction. In this regard, the Applicant shall proceed with the cancellation of Transaction within the execution date of such payment Transaction only, and when such refund or such cancellation made by the Payee is successful, the Bank will refund to the Applicant by crediting fund to the Applicant’s E-Wallet, crediting the credit amount of the Credit Card used to make such Transaction, or crediting fund to the Applicant’s deposit account linked with the Debit Card used to make such Transaction (as the case may be) unless prescribed otherwise by the Bank.
      • The Applicant shall not make payment through E-Wallet Service for any debts which does not arise from the purchase of goods and/or services from the Payee.
    • 3.3.3 To check Transaction reports of E-Wallet.
      • The Applicant is able to check the outstanding fund in E-Wallet and each payment Transaction through the function for checking Transaction report and/or function for notification on Application and/or to check through any other channels to be prescribed by the Bank in the future.
    • 3.3.4 To manage E-Wallet
      • (1) The Applicant shall have only one (1) E-Wallet with the Bank or other amount to be prescribed by the Bank in the future; provided that one (1) E-Wallet shall be linked with one (1) Receiving Account only.
      • (2) The Applicant is able to change Receiving Account pursuant to the procedures and means prescribed by the Bank. In cashing out fund after the Applicant has successfully made the Transaction of changing Receiving Account, the Bank will transfer fund from E-Wallet to the changed Receiving Account unless prescribed otherwise by the Bank in the future.
      • (3) The Applicant shall change personal data and any data to be accurate and up-to-date pursuant to the procedures and means prescribed by the Bank.
      • (4) The Bank will send any data in relation to E-Wallet Service to the Applicant through E-mail address given by the Applicant to the Bank when applying for E-Wallet Service only.
  • 3.4 The use of this E-Wallet Service shall be an integral part of Toyota’s Application which the Applicant shall also comply with terms and conditions of the use of Toyota’s Application service apart from these Terms and Conditions.
  • 3.5 The Applicant agrees to pay the fees, service charges and any expenses in relation to the use of this E-Wallet Service (if any), as prescribed by the Bank and notified to the Applicant, and agrees to pay taxes (if any).
  • 3.6 As E-Wallet under this E-Wallet Service shall be linked with Receiving Account only. Therefore, in case there is an order of any competent court, authority, inquiry officer, or governmental officer to seize and/or remit fund in Receiving Account, the Bank also has to seize and/or remit fund in E-Wallet pursuant to such order.

4. Validity of the Use of Services or Transaction and Agreement Binding on the Applicant

  • 4.1 Any procedure through E-Wallet Service pursuant to these Terms and Conditions is reliable and enforceable between the Applicant and the Bank. The Applicant represents and warrants that any documents and/or data received by the Bank through such procedure is reliable, correct and true as if they were made in writing and is enforceable among the Applicant, the Bank and the relevant persons in all respects. In this regard, the Bank is not required to review the accuracy and completeness of any details in relation to such Transaction.
  • 4.2 Any acts, whether related to any functions, made through E-Wallet Service by using Personal Security Code pursuant to these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed accurate and valid and shall bind the Applicant in all respects without having the Applicant to sign any other documents. The Applicant also agrees to be bound by such acts as if it has been done by the Applicant regardless of whether it has been done by the Applicant or any other persons and for whatever reason.
  • 4.3 The Bank shall have the right to require the Applicant to execute additional documents in a form and within the period prescribed by the Bank and to deliver such documents to the Bank.
  • 4.4 The Applicant cannot change or withhold or cancel Transaction after the Applicant has submitted such Transaction to the Bank through E-Wallet Service, unless the cancellation of Transaction pursuant to Clause 3.3.2 above or otherwise prescribed by the Bank in the future.
  • 4.5 If there are any damages incurred by the Bank and/or any persons as a result of providing services or proceeding with any acts in accordance with the Applicant’s request pursuant to these Terms and Conditions without the Bank’s fault or if the Applicant uses the services for any business which is illegal or contrary to public order or good morals such as making Transaction through E-Wallet Service for paying any debt relating to gamble, weapon trade, or supporting terrorism etc., the Applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless against the Bank for any damages in all respects.
  • 4.6 The Applicant agrees to be bound by Terms and Conditions and/or fees, service charges and expenses which may be amended, modified and/or added by the Bank in the future, provided that the Bank will inform the Applicant through Application and/or through E-Wallet Service system and/or by delivering written notification to the Applicant and/or by any other means as the Bank may deem appropriate, at least 30 days in advance before such amendment, modification or addition takes effect, except for the amendment, modification and/or addition which results in increasing the burden or risks to the Applicant in accordance with the regulations as prescribed by the Bank of Thailand, the Bank shall obtain consent from the Applicant before such amendment, modification and/or addition.
  • 4.7 The Applicant agrees to be bound by and comply with regulations, Terms and Conditions including user guide and documents explaining procedures to use the services prescribed by the Bank, which have been received or shall be deemed to have received by the Applicant on the execution date of the application for the use of services, including those to be prescribed, added, amended or modified in the future and which shall form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
  • 4.8 In case of any change to the deposit account which is designated to be Receiving Account for whatever reason, the Applicant agrees that these Terms and Conditions shall continue valid and enforceable with the changed deposit account. If the Applicant wishes to close deposit account which is designated to be Receiving Account, the Applicant agrees that the Applicant will be able to close such deposit account only if there is no outstanding balance in the Applicant’s E-Wallet.

5. Dealing with Error

If the Applicant is aware of any error or malfunction in using E-Wallet Service, except for the use of Toyota’s Application, the Applicant shall promptly notify the Bank by contacting the Bank at TOYOTA Wallet Customer Care Tel. 0-2660-5500, providing at least data in relation to date and time of executing Transaction and/or details of transaction and/or any other information relating to the erroneous transaction prescribed by the Bank. In this regard, the Bank and the Applicant shall cooperate in examining the facts and investigating the causes of error, including rectifying such error immediately. The Bank shall inform the result of such investigation to the Applicant by means and channels as the Bank deems appropriate such as telephone, mail, E-mail or any other means or channels to be further prescribed by the Bank.


6. The Bank’s Liability and the Limitation of Liability

  • 6.1 Any acts and things performed by the Bank pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and/or data provided by the Applicant to the Bank and/or request made by the Applicant and/or any terms and conditions for the use of the Bank’s services which are currently existing or hereafter to be further prescribed shall bind the Applicant in all respects and the Bank shall not be responsible for any damages incurred to the Applicant and/or any other persons in any respect.
  • 6.2 The Applicant acknowledges and agrees that the Bank shall not have to be liable to the Applicant for any error or malfunction of the use of this E-Wallet Service due to the Applicant fails to use Device for Transaction Execution prescribed by Toyota or the Bank or fails to use Toyota’s Application service prescribed by Toyota or Force Majeure events or any other circumstances beyond the Bank’s control.
  • 6.3 In the event that there is any dispute between the Applicant and the Payee and/or any other persons in relation to this E-Wallet Service, the Applicant shall make an effort to resolve such dispute by himself/herself and shall not do any acts resulting in the Bank has to participate in any dispute between the Applicant and the Payee and/or any other persons in relation to this E-Wallet Service.
  • 6.4 In the event that the Bank credits fund to E-Wallet and/or transfers fund to Receiving Account pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and it appears later that the Applicant fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, or it is credited fund to the wrong E-Wallet and/or transferred to the wrong Receiving Account, or it is caused by any error for whatever reason or any other reasons, the Applicant agrees that the Bank may correct the amount in E-Wallet and/or Receiving Account by allowing the Bank to transfer fund and/or debit fund from E-Wallet and/or Receiving Account, including reversing such incorrect Transaction. In this regard, the Bank does not have to notify the Applicant in advance and does not have to provide other evidences between the Bank and the Application.

7. Suspension and/or Cancellation of the Provision of Service

  • 7.1 The Bank shall have the right to deny, temporarily suspend or cancel providing any and all types of services and functions at any time by giving the 15 days prior notice to the Applicant, except for in the event that the Bank deems that it is illegal or contrary to public order or good morals for the Bank to provide services pursuant to these Terms and Conditions or for the Applicant to use the services; or the Bank is reasonably believed that there is any use of service or execution of Transaction in the robotic manner or any abuse or wrongful use of services or there is a necessary occurrence of any event for which a prior written notice may not be given, the Bank will promptly notify the Applicant.
  • 7.2 The Applicant may terminate or cancel the use of any type of services by making Transaction to terminate the use of E-Wallet Service through the Application or providing the Bank the 7 days written notice or submitting such notice through other channels prescribed by the Bank. In this regard, the Bank shall always be entitled to charge any fees, service charges or expenses in relation to the use of E-Wallet Service by debiting from the Applicant’s E-Wallet and/or Receiving Account until such termination or cancellation takes effect pursuant to these Terms and Conditions.
  • 7.3 In case of any data received by the Bank from the Applicant is incorrect, incomplete or untrue, the Applicant agrees that the Bank shall have the right to temporarily suspend and/or cancel the use of services at any time without having to notify the Applicant in advance. The Bank shall not be liable to the Applicant for any losses and damages in any respects.
  • 7.4 The Applicant agrees and accepts that the Bank shall have the right to temporarily suspend or cancel providing E-Wallet Service and/or any and all types of functions and/or services, including immediately suspend top-up Transaction to E-Wallet and fund transfer from E-Wallet to Receiving Account, without having to notify the Applicant in advance, when the following events occur:
    • 7.4.1 The Applicant becomes insolvent, is placed under receivership, is place under order for a seizure or attachment of property; or
    • 7.4.2 There is any legal grounds, governmental regulations, orders of court, competent authority, inquiry officer, or governmental officer resulting in the Bank is not able to provide service; or
    • 7.4.3 Data received by the Bank from the Applicant is incorrect, incomplete or untrue.

8. Collection, Use and Disclosure of Data

  • 8.1 The Bank may record any communications between the Applicant and the Bank and/or store and/or record and/or process information relating to the Applicant and/or Transaction and/or any acts in connection with the use of services of the Applicant for the benefit of enhancement and provision of the Bank’s services, including for keeping record as an evidence of the use of services and Transaction. The Applicant agrees to and shall not dispute the use of such record and/or information as an evidence against the Applicant under the laws.
  • 8.2 For the use of the Bank’s services, the Bank will collect, use and disclose the Applicant’s personal data and/or any other person’s personal data provided by the Applicant for the purpose of providing services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and any other purposes as prescribed in the Bank’s Privacy Notice. To understand how the Bank collects, uses and discloses personal data and the data owner’s rights in accordance with the personal data protection laws, the Applicant may further read such Privacy Notice as announced by the Bank on the Bank’s website namely www.scb.co.th and/or any other channels prescribed by the Bank or to be further changed and notified to the Applicant by announcing on such website and/or any other channels prescribed by the Bank. In addition, in the event that the Applicant has given any personal data of any other person, the Applicant shall notify such person of the details relating to the collection, use and disclosure of personal data and rights under such Privacy Notice.
  • 8.3 For the benefit of the Applicant for using E-Wallet Service and/or checking payment transactions for goods and/or products to the Payee through E-Wallet Service, the Bank will deliver, transfer and/or disclose the Applicant’s personal data, transaction execution data and/or data relating to the use of E-Wallet Service to Toyota, please further read Toyota’s Privacy Notice on Toyota’s website and/or any other channels prescribed by Toyota.
  • 8.4 For the benefit of the Applicant, the Bank may send commercial information such as product and service information, marketing information and promotion to the electronic address such as E-mail address and mobile number, and the Applicant may cancel or reject the delivery of such commercial information by contacting SCB Call Center Tel.02-777-7777 or pursuant to the channel prescribed by the Bank.

9. Contact Details and Notices

  • 9.1 If the Applicant changes mailing address, telephone number, facsimile and/or E-mail address from previously specified in the application at the time of applying for E-Wallet Service, the Applicant shall immediately notify the Bank in writing pursuant to the channels and means prescribed by the Bank.
  • 9.2 Any documents or notices submitted or delivered by the Bank to the Applicant or the contact person (if any) at the latest address and/or E-mail address notified by the Applicant to the Bank shall be deemed duly receipt by the Applicant and it shall be deemed that the Applicant shall have duly acknowledged the content contained therein.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand and the court of Thailand shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising under or in connection with the use of services under these Terms and Conditions.
